To give handicap on Schiavone +3.5 with 2.05 odd ? I do not agree with bookmakers. Italian player knows how to play against Stosur and for sure it will be very hard match for Stosur. Schiavone has all chances to win this match. Both players prefer field courts,so no one has advantage on this hard court. Yes, Stosur plays at home , but this wont give any advantages to her.Samanta is not in a good form now and on tournament in Brisbane she had lost to weak Iveta Benesova in second round. Francesca stably passes first rounds on every tournament. In Brisbane on the way to semifinals she has beaten Jankovic and Voskoboeva.

All in all Stosur doesent have any advantages now , so i put on Schiavone handicap.

 So guys.... not much to say here, Petkovic now has  better form than Pavlyuchenkova. They both played in a Brisbane tourney and both lost to Kanepi. Versus Kanepi only Petkovic was showing some real fight. Petkovic plays fast tennis, which means that not "slim" russian girl :) won't be able to move fast on a back line. If we talk about the serve, Petkovic's serve is stable (about 70%), which is very important factor in female tennis. Unfortunately or not :) Pavlyuchenkova in her last matches had less than 50% procents of first serve and 7 double mistakes. They have met in end of the season 2011, and at that time Pavlyuchenkova couldn't do anything against german girl:) and don't forget that she had the best form. I believe that in that match she will have even more less chances. I bet with confidence on german winning this match!

I am going to tell straight, very unexpected semi final we have. Everyone were expecting that Janko will meet Stanislav Wawrinka (seeded #1) in semi's, but yesterday he managed to loose to japanese Go Soeda. Lets analyze, does japanese have another chance?

Janko Tipsarevic is located on 9th place in ATP ranking. Last year was just fantastic for him. Final's in Instambul and  Saint Peterburg, win in Moscow and win in Malaysia. Starting season on 51st place, he managed to reach top10. In current tourney he has beaten without any chance indian guys Yuki Bhambri, but in the next round he met very unexpected opponent David Goffin. But lets not think, that today Janko is not focused , because of japanese guy. Serbian plays very good at hard courts. And he has to hold his top10, thats why the winning in Chennai will be the mission number one.

Go Soeda placed on 120th place in ATP ranking. The journey to semis for 27 years old japanese is of course an success, and also because he started from qualifications. He plays almost only challengers. Yes he has beaten Wawrinka, but Stanislav is known for unexpected matches. Wawrinka just played bad, rather Go Soeda showed a good match. Japanese managed to make 4 double errors on serve and only served one ace. Tipsarevic in two matches did one double mistake. Serbian's serve is very stable and for not high japanese who is 177cm, would be hard to return.

Very interesting semi-final we have today in ATP Doha. Lets try to analyze, what could happen in this match.

Gael Monfils is placed 16th in ATP ranking. Yesterday in a hard match ( 2 hours 27 minutes ) Gael managed to beat german guy Benjamin Becker. This could be a minus for Monfils, because there is no time for relaxing before next match. And also we shouldn't forget that yesterday he was showing that he has pain in his leg. But we know that Gael is young , so sometimes he likes to act in order to attract attention from the crowd, therefor we shouldn't consider it as serous injury. On hard french man likes and can play. Exactly on that surface last year he managed to win a tournament in Stockholm. In Stockholm every match he played was tiebreak or 12 game set. Why do we make an accent on that? Because in Doha last two matches were tied. It seems that Gael prefers to play that way. For Monfils it's going to be another tied match, that he prefers to play.

Serbian Viktor Troicki holds 22nd place in ATP ranking. Yesterday he also had some problems in a match versus german Matthias Bachinger. With a hard match he managed to win german in tiebreak. But it seems that with more skillfull player like Gael serbian would not gold. In interview he told that the game versus Gael would be a great testing operation :). But again, we know that french man is better when it comes to testing-long matches.

Known for being psychologically unstable during the games, therefore she had a lot of unforced errors in the end of the last season. In this season, australian managed to win Medina Gariggues and managed to lose with 0:2 score to Marion Bartoli. Last lost to Bartoli has effected Gajdosova in a bad way. It was very sad to see Gajdosova crying after the match, although she was ready to win it with full confidence. One more unplanned lose like that and Gajdosova can say goodbye to the top20.  Jarmila's character is not a fighter, she only likes to beat middle class tennis players, but when it comes to high ranking players, she simply start to show her psychologically unstableness. Therefore she starts to nervous and loose her confident to win the match.

One can say Li na is a perfect opponent for Gajdosova. She is calm and stable chinese player, which hold top10 position for a long time. She is more psychologically stable and ready to take challenges like all chinese people I guess:). Li has started the season in a great form, beating Bartoli and Medina Gariggues.

All in all, chinese prefers to act on a back line, catching her opponents on unforced errors. This is exactly what we need because Gajdosova cant do anything about it. Na Li has more higher level of tennis, therefore she has to win Jarmila in 2 sets. I hope on a fair match and honestly game, which will lead us to the win of Li Na in 2 sets.

Ivo Karlovic in total played 77% of his matches on hard surface, which tells us that the best results he has archived was on hard surface. Meanwhile this particular event (ATP Doha) he will start with injury, which he got at ATP Vienna, that means we should expect not an easy game. Before the injury he have won 2 events in Sacramento and Tiburon, that tells us he was in a great form. Before ATP Doha he had enough time to repair his injury and get his best form for the tournament. Outstanding serve + not bad game at volley,  what else do you need to win a match? He has every potential, and that is a huge plus for our bet.

What about Stakhovsky? Now there is no potential, but he used to be a good player few years back.

Sergei has also played 73% games on hard surface. Hard surface is also profitable place for Stakhovsky, but unfortunately Sergei couldn't show the same result as Karlovic did. Last season was terrible for him.
Although he managed to win some known names in last season , such as Nishikori and less known playets Tsapkvocih and Taysher. Last two do not know how to play on hard and Nishikori was just TO tired and gave the victory for two candies. He showed a lot of unforced errors last season. (even on the back line - his favorite shot).
